The Build My Future Collaboration is being hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Siouxland and the Siouxland Construction Alliance. Build My Future gives students from grades 9 -12 the opportunity to have a day to work in the Construction Industry through an interactive showcase.  Participating schools will send students between the hours of 9:00am to 2:00pm. We will provide hands on learning labs with our industry partners.  The student activities will include educational displays, equipment operations, scissors lifts, boom trucks, cranes, excavators. Some of the learning labs may include things like learning to sheet rock, building a brick wall, painting, working with construction equipment and much more.  This event is being held on October 11, 2022 at the Siouxland Expo Center, 550 Expo Center Drive.   We anticipate 1,000 plus students from area high schools.
